Next month, Apple will be hosting an event to introduce new devices. According to reports, Apple will be unveiling new models of iPads and MacBook Air, which are said to be thinner than their predecessors.

The upcoming iPad Pro will not only be thinner, but it will also have a larger display.

Apple will be continuing its tradition of offering Pro variants with 11- and 12.9-inch displays. According to sources familiar with the company’s plans, the 2024 iPad Pro models will have a redesigned form factor. The current generation of 11- and 12.9-inch options measure 247.6mm x 178.5mm x 5.9mm and 280.6mm x 214.9mm x 6.4mm respectively. In the 2024 variants, these dimensions will be reduced to 249.7 mm x 177.5 mm x 5.1 mm and 281.5 mm x 215.5 mm x 5.0 mm respectively.

The dimensions of the iPad Air 12.9 will remain the same as the current generation Pro.

In addition to the new iPad models, Apple is also expected to unveil the new MacBook Air. The MacBook Air will have the same 12.9-inch display as the iPad Pro.

It is highly likely that the iPad Pro 2024 will be powered by the M3 processor. Only time will tell if the iPad Air 2024 will also make the switch to the same chipset or adopt the M2 instead.
