We do not yet know the release date for iOS 18, but some details have been leaked online. According to MacRumors, iOS 18 will be compatible with the iPhone XR, as well as the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max models that also have the A12 Bionic chip. If this information is accurate, iOS 18 will support the same iPhone models as iOS 17.

Apple will likely release updates in September. Currently, there are rumors that the update will introduce new generative AI features for Siri, RCS support in the Messages app, and design changes.
